Taylor Fladgate 10 Year Old Tawny Porto

Residing in the famous Douro River Valley of northern Portugal, Taylor Fladgate is one of the oldest and most important Port houses with a history going as far back as 1692. Ownership changed many times over the years, but today it is owned by the Yeatman family. You will notice that many of the Port houses have English names such as Fladgate, Dow, Warre, Cockburn, Sandeman, Croft… That is because Port, though Portuguese in its grapes and terroir, was most loved by the English, especially during the many years of French and English conflict, and due to this, Englishmen began founding Port houses.
