Glengyle Distillery Kilkerran Heavily Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Batch 14)
A departure from our typically lightly peated single malt, our Heavily Peated Kilkerran is released twice per year at cask strength and around 45PPM. Although the maturation can vary, it is typically matured predominantly in Bourbon casks.
Nose
Honeycomb, wholemeal toast, chargrilled seafood, smokey bacon.
Palate
Smoke, lemon shortbread, ham, melon.
Finish
Nicely balanced: Peat smoke, lemon zest, icing sugar and sweet buttery mouthfeel.
