Educational Tasting: Van Winkle 12 Year Lot B & Wheated Bourbon: (730PM, Friday, August 14th, 2026)
Wheated Bourbon has been around for over a century, but until recently only 1 family has really been able to perfect the recipe and that is the Van Winkle Family. So, how could we do the class with out a Van Winkle bottling?!?
As an extension to our Understanding Mashbills class we'll dive into what replacing Rye in a Bourbon Mashbill with wheat does to the Bourbon. How it changes the flavor profile, and how it became so famous!
