2022 Musar Jeune

Cinsault (50%), Syrah (35%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%)

Wine Making -  Musar Jeune red is unfiltered, unoaked and produced in keeping with our non-interventionist,
natural wine-making philosophy. The grapes were fermented in September in concrete vats with a
temperature range of 27 and 29 degrees Celsius. The wines were blended in February 2023 and then
rested in the vats until being bottled during the summer of 2023.

Tasting Notes - A bright, vibrant ruby colour; the 2022 vintage is bursting with rich fruits. A traditional Musar Jeune nose with dark cherries and berries, it is all at once juicy and fresh with pomegranate, cranberries and
herbal scents of violet and thyme. Dense and energetic on the palate with smooth tannins and lively
acidity.

Time will reveal much more about the 2022 vintage, but one thing is for sure, it was a great year for
the vines from the first day of the year and all our wines from this harvest have the characteristics
needed to become very fine and unique wines.
