Product Details
A rare dessert wine called Recioto della Valpolicella made by Tomasso Bussola's estate.
Great acidity keeps this luscious and rich dessert wine perfectly in balance. The wine shows red fruit, figs and plums. Pair with creamy pastries, cheeses, or spicy cured meats if you are bold enough to experiment (you wont be disappointed)
70% of the grapes are left to dry for 4 months, while the remaining 30% dry for 6. The wine undergoes 15 day fermentation and maceration with both pump overs and skin submersions. Once the last 30% is ready, it is added to the wine starting a second fermentation which lasts 30 days. The wine is then aged for 3 years in stainless steel.
