Minimum 18 months in medium - toasted French Barriques and 50 hl barrel. Minimum 12 months in bottle.
Open nose with prune, saddle leather, spicy, menthol, black raspberry, celery and clove aromas with a floral, smoky vanilla streak. Rich, round, and dry with good concentration and some ripe tannins. Peppery, mocha, licorice, black cherry, plum, smoky vanilla and mint flavours. Finish has some tobacco and resin characters with some slightly lean, dry tannins.
