Producer Tasting Notes:
Intense garnet red with a slightly orange rim. Well – defined aroma of dried plum, hazelnut, black truffle, walnut and chocolate. Intense scents that continue to change and to vary.
Bottling date: October 1985.
Vintage Notes: A very good vintage for Amarone production: a fairly dry and very hot summer followed a wet spring. Harvest of perfectly healthy grapes.
About the Producer:
Bertani's history dates back to 1857 when brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani established the original winery in Grezzana, Valpolicella Valpantena. Today, Bertani comprises more than 200 hectares (500 acres) of cultivated vineyards across Verona: Lake Garda, Valpolicella Valpantena, Soave and Valpolicella Classico.
