Producer Tasting Notes:
This wine has been aged for more than 10 years in bottle and aged 20 years in cask. It has an intense garnet red colour, a very rich bouquet that recalls the dry fruit, above all the hazelnut, the plum, the tobacco, the cacao and the leather. The mouth is spicy with a great lasting. Taste that recalls the truffle and the almond.

Vintage Notes: Very good vintage with abundant rainfall in spring time. In July and August long period of dryness, only few rain in September. October very nice and dry.

About the Producer:
Bertani's history dates back to 1857 when brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani established the original winery in Grezzana, Valpolicella Valpantena. Today, Bertani comprises more than 200 hectares (500 acres) of cultivated vineyards across Verona: Lake Garda, Valpolicella Valpantena, Soave and Valpolicella Classico.
