The wine shows a nutty side to it, which softens with air as the fruit becomes more prominent. It has incredible complexity, great spice and really is an ideal nightcap, or accompaniment to fig or caramel based desserts. The high acidity, and sweetness really make this something that can pair very widely though, so do not be afraid to experiment. Keep in mind that this bottle does not need to be consumed in a single night or even week. It will last very well with the cork back in for at least a month
