While it stands out visually, the 88 Butterfly is tough to track due to their darting, low-to-the-ground flying patterns. With luck, you can spot an 88 perched on a rock alongside the Río Blanco, or feeding on fallen fruit from the abundant fruit trees in the area.

PRODUCTION NOTES

Distiller: Rommel Krassel
Region: Santa Maria Tlalixtac, Oaxaca
Sugarcane: Java varietal, 100% cane juice
Fermentation: Pine tanks with ambient yeast
Distillation: Pot & Krassel Still Rum

Blend:
Pot & Krassel Still Rum Blend:
Aged 3 Years in New French Oak Cask
Finished 11 Months in an Ex-Tequila Barrel
Krassel Still Rum:
Aged 38 months in an Ex-Bourbon Barrel
Finished 10 months in an Ex-Merlot Oak Cask

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.1% ABV with no water, sugar,
or coloring added. 571 bottles total.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0501/5663/4311/files/IMG_3001_de8d2b2a-5c7c-4ab0-8c72-b42324f88ab6.jpg?v=1792271748
