Rasteau AOC, created in 1943, is predominantly Grenache, though all other Côtes du Rhône varietals are permitted, but limited to 10% in total. Despite the AOC, wines had to be sold onder the Côtes du Rhône Villages designation until 1996 when Rasteau was one of the villages names that could be added. By the 2009 vintage, it had become its own appelation, no longer needing to be labeled as Côtes du Rhône Villages at all.
The Village Wine Merchant is pleased to offer same day delivery in Nassau County for orders placed by 7PM Tuesday through Saturdays and 4PM on Sundays. Orders placed when shop is closed (including Monday) will be delivered the following day. We do not ship Wine or spirits.
Delivery requires signature of a recipient 21 years or older with valid ID.
